You don't hear much in the news about Swaziland in the UK but it is a tiny country in Southern Africa, surrounded by South Africa, and suffers form one of the problems that afflict its big neighbour - babies who become orphans because their parents have died from AIDS.
About 30% of Swaziland's children have lost one or both parents to AIDs.
This means we have legal charitable status. We have dotted the i's and crossed the t's and now we can really get on with building the home. Its all really coming together now - the land, builders plans, house mother, the fund raising, and now the legal charity. Exciting times and the vision of these children growing up, being loved and secure in their own community is many steps closer.
The Home will be based on a family group with a house mother and about eight children to start with.
If you would like more information please contact us. We still need to raise money for the building and ongoing costs. If you would like to support this project and make a contribution please click here for details on how to Donate.
