You don't hear much in the news about Swaziland in the UK but it is a tiny country in Southern Africa, surrounded by South Africa, and suffers form one of the problems that afflict its big neighbour - babies who become orphans because their parents have died from AIDS.

About 30% of Swaziland's children have lost one or both parents to AIDs.

Swazi Children is a UK registered charity: 1134746 which has a long term commitment to delivering support in the rural communities of Swaziland. This support aims to strengthen public health and community systems to deliver a sustained response to HIV and AIDS.

Swazi Children, established in 2009 and supported by UK fund raising and corporate donations, comprises a group of Trustees in the UK plus one Trustee in Swaziland.

Our Constitution states that: we aim to address the needs of children orphaned as a result of their parents’ death from HIV /AIDS by supporting orphaned and vulnerable children in communities in Swaziland; and to advance the education of the children by supporting, through fund raising, their requirements for uniforms, school fees and other related costs up to post secondary school (16 years old).
